Opposites and color pigments with Donna
We mixed colors together to make new colors.
Then we did a paper towel wicking experiment to separate the color pigments from each other.
We talked about opposites and made an opposite book. I drew a tall tree and a short tree.

Dentist appointment in Iowa city
All four boys went to the dentist yesterday. Archimedes was scared and crying at first sitting in the big dentist chair but he was brave and did such a wonderful job. He has one cavity that he will go back sometime this month to have filled.
We stopped at a rest stop outside of Iowa city to have snacks.
When we got home he climbed onto Jupiter's bunk and climbed back down all on his own. Such a growing boy!

Play dough cookies and push-ups
Archimedes made a play dough cookie that had a letter C on it. He was also showing off how hard he works at his push-ups while the whole family was doing yoga and playing around the living room.

Folder for art
Yesterday at Walgreens Archimedes saw an Angry Birds space folder with pigs all over it and immediately said he wanted it. I told him he could use it to hold his art. He was excited to get it home and fill it with art!

Summer reading program
I read 15 hours to complete the summer reading program with Milo and Medes. They got coupons, a soft cover book, and a cool blue t-shirt.
